1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Koru ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your access to and use of the Koru mobile application ("App").

2. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the App.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use the App.

3. Service Description

Koru is a family budget management application that allows family members to:

• Create and manage family groups
• Track shared expenses
• Set and monitor budgets
• Manage financial information collaboratively

4. Account Registration

4.1 Account Creation

You may register using:

• Apple Sign-in
• Google Sign-in

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining account confidentiality
• All activities under your account
• Notifying us of unauthorized access

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Free Tier

Includes:

• Basic budget tracking
• Up to 2 family members
• 2 budget categories
• 4 free category icons

5.2 Premium Subscription

Includes:

• Unlimited family members
• Unlimited categories
• Unlimited icons
• Additional features as released

5.3 Payment Terms

• Payments are processed through RevenueCat
• All purchases are final
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Prices are subject to change with notice

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any laws
• Infringe on others' rights
• Share harmful content
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the service
• Create multiple accounts
• Share account credentials

7. Data and Privacy

• We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
• We use Firebase for analytics
• Data is stored on Hetzner servers
• You retain ownership of your content

8. Intellectual Property

• The App and its content are owned by us
• You receive a limited license to use the App
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for:

• Terms violations
• Inappropriate behavior
• Extended inactivity
• At our discretion

10. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND

11. Limitation of Liability

OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time with notice through the App
